The just-launched Bing Twitter, aside from being an odd idea, is broken:
Bing seem to struggle to run a competant search engine in the conventional sense. Building a real time service on top of another companies efforts is really odd as you say…
I wouldn\’t be surprised if they used the Twitter search API for this, and twitter blocked them from doing so!
With twitter not having enough juice to serve all it’s users I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this was caused by twitter being temporarily down.
Twitter was up at that time.
