An interesting infographic on GIZMODO reveals some interesting information.
1.4 billion internet users worldwide.
1.5 billion televisions worldwide.
4 billion mobile phones worldwide.
600 million IM users.
1.3 billion email users.
3.05 billion SMS users.
Top visited mobile website: Mocospace. (?)
Lots of fascinating facts to impress your co-workers at lunchtime. A handful of impossible to read colour combinations. And one mistake.

Here is another link about the Mobile Market: AdMob data is based on the usage of mobile sites and apps, which is very different than if you were to look at estimates of device sales!

Although Symbian phones outsell iPhones, RIM and Android, the actual mobile traffic is mostly created by iPhones, up to 92% in oceania. People simply don’t use their web enables phones to access the web – except for iPhones, Androids and RIM (almost 75% of th traffic).
BTW: Blackberry/RIM has something like a market share in the US (10%) only. Everywhere else they are marginal (sorry, Dave)
